MGA suspends BetElephant licence
The Malta Gaming Authority has suspended the B2C service licence of BetElephant for failing to submit its interim financial statements for 2019.
The Malta Gaming Authority has suspended the B2C service licence of gaming operator BetElephant for failing to submit its interim financial statements for 2019.
BetElephant had been approved to offer casino, as well as fixed-odds betting, via the Spartabet and BetElephant brands.
The Spartabet.com site is currently offline, while the domain for BetElephant.com is available for sale.
BetElephant may no longer carry out any gaming operations, register new players or accept new customer deposits.
It must, however, allow all registered players to access their player accounts and refund all player funds it current holds.
Last month (26 March), the MGA cancelled Pick Mister Limited’s B2C gaming service licence after the online operator failed to pay its licence fees for 2019.
On 10 March, the regulator suspended Stakers Limited’s B2C gaming service licence after the GB Gambling Commission's took a simliar decision the previous week.
