The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has revealed the identity of the latest batch of daily fantasy sports (DFS) operators that have applied for licences in the US state. Earlier this month, Pennsylvania launched a regulated DFS market, with firms planning to launch in the state facing a 15% tax on adjusted revenue. DraftKings, through its Crown PA brand, and FanDuel are among those to have already secured approval to operate in Pennsylvania. The state regulator has now revealed it is also currently considering applications from Yahoo Fantasy Sports, Fantasy Draft, Sportshub Technologies and Full Time Fantasy Sports. In a statement, the regulator said: “It is legal to participate in fantasy sports contests with any of the ten firms listed if you are submitting an entry fee for a contest and initiating play from within Pennsylvania.”
