Totally Gaming Academy (TGA), Clarion Gaming’s training and professional development arm, has struck a partnership with Conexus Group’s iGaming Academy (IGA) to deliver remote learning courses to the gambling industry.

The partnership brings together TGA’s 13 years of experience in delivering industry training with IGA’s expertise of providing e-learning services.

“This relationship provides the gaming business community across every vertical with a complete training solution, curated and delivered by two of the best known and reputable learning and training providers in the industry,” TGA head of education and training Andrew Spencer said.

This means that despite the disruption caused by the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, clients will still be able to access training and education programmes, across more than 40 evolving and future-focused courses.

"In the current unprecedented climate with Covid-19, the importance of providing clients with opportunities to undertake their learning remotely and online through webinars and e-learning has never been greater,” Spencer explained.

“Our aim is to enable clients to have that choice, and, in the process to help support business continuity. I believe the partnership plays to the strengths of both organisations, and provides clients with what they want, which is flexible options for their training, in a format of their choice at the time and location they want it.”

“We look forward to developing this exciting partnership to meet the needs of what is a rapidly changing and evolving sector.”

IGA managing director Jaime Debono added that the partnership would ensure businesses with a wide geographic footprint would still be able to provide localised training to staff around the world.

“Effective, specialist training is critical for success in the global gaming industry,” Debono said. “We’re delighted that this partnership will create the largest consolidated range of training programs for both employers and professional learners, with over 40 topics across multi-jurisdictional compliance and vocational courses.”
