Ainsworth reveals Neumann remuneration, appoints Bolleson as product chief
Plans to appoint Neumann (pictured) to the role were announced last month, after it was revealed that Lawrence Levy was to step down from the position.
Neumann spent almost six years as CEO of Novomatic before departing in February 2020.
Terms of Neumann’s appointment include an initial remuneration package worth $600,000 (£442,720/€516,610) and while he will not have a fixed-term contract, this will be subject to annual review by the AGT board.
Meanwhile, AGT also appointed Bollesen as chief product officer with effect from 7 October.
Bollesen, who has spent more than 25 years working in the digital entertainment industry, will lead AGT’s game development teams around the world.
Before agreeing to join AGT, Bollesen spent more than 11 years as vice president of game studios for the Asia-Pacific region at IGT.
Bollesen also co-founded THQ and had spells as studio art director at Electronic Arts and as an application engineer for SGI.
“I firmly believe that developers and operators must aggressively drive for new features and technologies with a keen awareness of the core concepts,” Bollesen said.
“I believe in the strength of the Ainsworth brand. With the right strategies in place there is an opportunity to build on the company’s strong foundations and deliver new products that gamers are looking for in their experience.”
AGT chairman Danny Gladstone added: “We are looking forward to having David on board and driving the next- generation of Ainsworth products to the market. David has led and collaborated on numerous video games and slot machine products with proven success.”
