Scientific Games is to open a remote development centre in Poland to support its new SG Digital division.
Based in the Polish capital of Krakow, the facility is due to open towards the end of the first quarter and will operate with a team of more than 100 staff.
SG Digital will now look to recruit staff for various key roles, including quality assurance, core software development and product innovation.
The centre will become SG Digital’s fourth major development hub in Europe, complementing existing facilities in London, England; Athens in Greece; and the Swedish capital of Stockholm.
Chris Armes, chief technology officer at SG Digital, said: “Opening the new Krakow centre underlines our commitment to continuously boost our best-in-class offering.
“This location will be directly aligned with our other European technology hubs and form a great asset for the SG Digital business unit.”
